Precision is the highest standard to which any writer can aspire. It is the demanding art of "using the right word, not its second cousin."

Achievement of precision is hard work. That is why all writers need editors.

Definition of ELS


ELS (Editor in the Life Sciences) indicates professional certification by the Board of Editors in the Life Sciences (BELS). The BELS certification examination resembles the standard tests used in many professions to certify practitioners.

Confidentiality

I do not share information about your work with anyone. I am the only person who has access to your files.

Standards & practices

I am a member of the Board of Editors in the Life Sciences, The American Medical Writers Association, and the Editorial Freelancers Association. As a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association, I abide by its Code of Fair Practice.

Payment

I accept payment by check or money order for established businesses. I also can accept payment through Paypal.
